My name is Anastacia Day and I am one of the dance teachers at Ovation. I am 23 years old and my dance background is in ballet. I started in baby ballroom dancing but ballet was where I first fell in love with the art of dance and I kept training for the next 8 years before expanding my experience with Hip-Hop and Modern. 

At Ovation, currently I teach Jazz, Tap, and Musical Theater. My main focus, other than teaching technique and posture, is to teach students that dance is not only a form of art and self-expression but it can be a way to find structure and balance in more than just the physical but mental as well.

I graduated with an AA with a degree in both English and Humanities before transferring to the University of Riverside to acquire a Bachelor’s in the same subject. I am currently working towards getting a teacher’s credential to teach English in high schools.

I have had the pleasure of volunteering as a dance helper at Ovation since I was 16 years old until transitioning to a full position once I turned 18. I have taught children of all ages as well as adults with special needs.
